Doosan Digital Innovation (DDI) is transforming from a system integration (SI) company into a cybersecurity specialist. The company is officially expanding its security business, which has been primarily focused on affiliates, to external markets. Justin Park, CEO of DDI, said at the 'Cybersecurity Forum 2023' held on the 28th, "DDI will spread the know-how accumulated in the cybersecurity field to other companies." The event was organized to introduce cybersecurity industry trends and Doosan's security business strategy to customers and partners.

At the event, Doosan Group's case of establishing a digital transformation and security framework, led by DDI, was also introduced. Hong Jeong-bae, Doosan's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), explained, "In the digital transformation (DT) process that Doosan Group has been pursuing since 2020, cybersecurity has played a cornerstone role in safely supporting the framework of DT management. Since 2021, we have focused our main improvement strategy on cybersecurity."

Hong stated, "Even after 2021, there were various hacking attempts, but we effectively detected and responded to them with our integrated security system. We are building security systems for new areas such as Operational Technology (OT) security."
